Main Faults and Solutions of the Electric Dynamometer System
The electric dynamometer often has some common problems or faults in the process of testing. Taking our company's electric dynamometer system as an example, we will sort out the seven most common failures of electric dynamometer and its solutions.
Solution: ABB torque mode is not displayed correctly, set 11.01 to the specified torque mode [REF2 (%)].
Solution: 1) See what error code ABB controller shows, determine the fault according to ABB instructions; 2) See whether the ABB parameters are correct, if not, need to re-identify the dynamometer.
Solution: First determine whether ABB calls this parameter, or whether the parameter is not called correctly, and it depends on the code displayed on the ABB controller, if the dynamometer really does not turn up, please re-identify the dynamometer.
Solution: This may be caused by interference, and all instruments need to be reliably grounded; Check whether the SLFN torque sensor signal conversion cable shield is grounded.
Solution: 1) First determine whether the switching power supply 12V and -12V are normal, if not normal, the switching power supply is damaged; 2) If the torque voltage signal is not normal, the SLFN signal conversion module may be damaged, or the conversion box is damaged; 3) The sensor may be bad, it can be replaced with a new sensor and calibrated.
Solution: 1) First check whether the encoder cable of the electric dynamometer is in good contact; 2) Check whether the encoder shield cable is grounded.
Solution: 1) First determine how much the actual speed of the dynamometer; 2) Whether the ratio settings for the encoder are correct; 3) Interference problems, it need to be reliably grounded; 4) The encoder may be damaged.
